The Studierendenwerk Göttingen offers barrier-free accommodation in several dormitories that is specially tailored to the needs of students with disabilities.
If you are dependent on accomodation with specific requirements, please contact us early. We will be happy to advise you.
What do I need to consider when applying?
- You can also apply for an accessible dormitory via our online application.
- Please use the information field in the online application to let us know your requirements for an accessible place in a dormitory. We will endeavour to take these into account accordingly.
- Please upload proof of your disability (severely disabled person´s pass or similar). This should show the effects of your health situation that make certain room facilities necessary.
- Complete the application form in full. Once we have received your application, you will receive a confirmation email from us.
- Please check that the information contained in the email is correct and confirm your application via the confirmation link contained in the email.
- We will not place you on the waiting list until we have received your confirmation.

Due to demand, we are unfortunately unable to offer accomodation to every student. Please contact the Student Accomodation Service Office early to find out what your chances are and find out about other accomodation options in Göttingen.
